Getting Started

Account Types

Pick the account type based on how you add transactions and how much automation you need.

What Changes Between Types?

The type defines how the account is managed: what you enter manually, what FundStat generates automatically, and whether broker file import is available.

Simple Account

Simple account is managed manually with optional automation. You can keep full cash tracking or enable buy/sell-only mode with automatic top-ups.

Available Options

  • Manual cash mode: add deposits, withdrawals, BUY, and SELL yourself. You can also add an optional fee for each BUY/SELL (value + fee currency).
  • Auto-topups mode: add only BUY/SELL, and FundStat creates read-only top-up deposits when needed. Optional fee per BUY/SELL is supported as well.
  • Auto-conversion: keep account in a base currency and generate conversion entries automatically.
  • You can combine Auto-topups and Auto-conversion in one Simple account.

What FundStat Generates Automatically

  • Dividends are generated and kept as cash entries.
  • Stock splits are handled automatically.
  • Top-up deposits are generated as read-only records in Auto-topups mode.
  • Currency conversion entries are generated as read-only records when Auto-conversion is enabled.

Broker file import is not available in Simple account.

MyFund migration into Simple account is available through Import Assistant.

Detailed Account

Detailed account is built for import-based management and maximum transaction-level control.
  • Automatic broker file import.
  • All transactions are managed by you and should 100% reflect imported files and manual corrections.
  • The only automatic generation is auto-conversion when statement currency does not match asset currency (for example, foreign assets priced in PLN in the broker file).

MyFund migration is available in Detailed account.

Can You Change Account Types Later?

The account type is fixed after creation. If needed, create another account with a different management model.
