Universal Import

Universal Import lets you import transactions to any account using one FundStat XLSX template.

1. Download the template

Download the XLSX template from FundStat. It contains examples and an instruction area with accepted transaction types.

2. Fill the XLSX template

Fill one row per transaction in the Template sheet, then save the workbook as XLSX. You can use Excel, Google Sheets, LibreOffice, or another spreadsheet program.

3. Upload and review

Upload the XLSX file in Universal Import mode, verify the column mapping, then review the transactions and confirm the import.

XLSX Template Rules

Date must use DD-MM-YYYY, optionally with HH:MM:SS.
Symbols use CODE.ISO country format, for example SXR8.DE or AAPL.US. Cash-only rows can leave Symbol empty.
Quantity, Price, and Total value accept dot or comma decimals.
Price is always in the asset currency for BUY and SELL. Total value is in the Currency column.
Fees and taxes are separate rows using FEE, FEE-REFUND, TAX, or TAX-REFUND.
Simple accounts accept BUY, SELL, FEE, and, when cash is manually managed, DEPOSIT and WITHDRAWAL.
