Getting Started

Adding Transactions

All the ways to get your transactions into FundStat: broker file imports, manual entry, the universal template and MyFund migration.

Ways to add transactions

Transactions always belong to an account. Open Add transactions, choose the account and pick one of the methods below. You can mix methods on the same account, for example import a broker file and add a missing dividend by hand.

Recommended
Broker file import
Export the transaction history from your broker or bank, upload the file, review the recognised transactions and confirm the import.
Broker guides
Manual entry
Enter buys, sells, deposits, withdrawals, dividends, interest, fees, taxes and share transfers one by one. Corporate actions such as spin-offs are also added manually.
Share transfersCorporate actions
Universal import
Fill in the FundStat XLSX template when your broker isn't supported yet, or when you keep your history in a spreadsheet.

MyFund migration
Moving from MyFund? Import your MyFund export to bring over your full history.

Account automations (auto top-ups, auto conversion and auto dividends) also apply to imports, so some transactions from a file can be skipped. Check the preview before you confirm. Read about automations.

Import limit: 3000 rows per file

A single import accepts up to 3000 rows. The limit applies to broker files, the universal template and MyFund migration. If your file is bigger, split your history into several smaller imports:

  1. 1Export the history from your broker again for a shorter period of time, for example one year at a time.
  2. 2If one year still has more than 3000 rows, use shorter periods, such as half a year or a quarter.
  3. 3Import the files one by one into the same account.

Using the universal template? Split the rows into several files of up to 3000 rows each.

Overlapping date ranges are fine: FundStat marks transactions that were already imported as duplicates and skips them.

Automatic synchronisation with brokers

FundStat can't connect to your broker or bank and sync transactions automatically yet. Polish brokers and banks don't offer an API or any other way for outside apps to connect to their systems, so importing files is currently the way to bring in your history.

We're actively looking for a solution and will announce it in product updates as soon as it's ready.

Your broker isn't supported?

In the meantime, add transactions manually or with the universal import. Send us a sample export file at contact@fundstat.pl and we will plan a dedicated importer.
