Junior Fullstack Developer
Technical support and product development
We are building Fundstat and looking for our first technical hire to join the cofounders. You will help us solve user problems, write technical documentation and ship small product improvements.
We are looking for someone who likes to understand the root cause of a problem, describe the solution clearly and see things through. You will work directly with the founders.
What you will do
- Analyse user reports: gather details, reproduce bugs and communicate progress.
- Diagnose problems using logs, browser tools and SQL queries.
- Solve common problems and hand over harder cases with a complete description.
- Create and update technical documentation: project setup, how modules work, diagnostic guides and common problems.
- Fix bugs and ship small features on the frontend and backend.
- Test changes and add tests for fixed bugs.
What we expect
- Practical basics of TypeScript, React and Next.js.
- Backend fundamentals: HTTP, APIs and relational databases.
- Ability to work with Git and to read and modify existing code.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Codex, Claude Code or Cursor to analyse code, diagnose bugs, implement changes and write documentation.
- A project, internship or first job experience you can use to talk about problems you solved on your own.
- Clear communication in Polish and English good enough to read documentation.
- Willingness to talk to users and to work on documentation regularly.
- Willingness to learn about the financial industry and how investment products work.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including writing SQL queries to analyse data.
- Experience in technical support or customer service.
- Experience writing automated tests, e.g. with Jest or Playwright.
- Personal investing experience, e.g. with brokerage accounts, IKE/IKZE retirement accounts or investment tax reporting.
Our stack
Next.js, React, TypeScript and PostgreSQL. We also use AI coding tools in our daily work.
What we offer
- Pay of up to 35 PLN gross per hour on a contract of mandate, depending on skills and experience.
- Flexible working hours and a monthly commitment agreed together — at least 100 hours per month.
- Working directly with the cofounders and real influence on the product.
- Experience working on a live product — from a user report to a shipped fix.
- Gradually increasing responsibility as your skills grow.
