Import

Broker transaction import – all your investments in one place

Upload your account history file and the import assistant recognises trades, currencies and duplicates. That’s how you combine investments from several brokers in one portfolio – with no retyping and no passwords.

Import assistant in FundStat – what you get

The import goes through three stages – file and mapping, preview, confirmation – and only what you approve reaches your portfolio.

Columns mapped automatically

The assistant recognises your broker’s file and assigns the columns itself: date, operation type, instrument, units and currency. Sample values from the file appear alongside, and nothing is saved until you approve the preview.

Duplicates skipped automatically

Uploading a file that overlaps with a previous import? Trades already in your portfolio are marked as duplicates and skipped. If they really are two different trades, include them with one click.

Missing symbols with a suggestion

When the broker only gives its own identifier or an ISIN, the assistant suggests a matching asset. Accept the suggestion or search for another, and the symbol goes to every trade in that group at once.

Errors and unrecognised rows under control

Filters show errors, unrecognised and discarded rows, and arrows jump to the next error. Define an unrecognised row by hand, and edit or discard any trade before importing.

A file instead of your password

All you need is a file exported from your broker. FundStat never asks for your login or password to your brokerage account, so it has no access to your money or orders.

Transaction import from 18 brokers and banks – supported sources

Every source has a ready import and a guide on how to get the file. Besides brokers, you can import Polish treasury bonds from PKO BP, move your account from myfund or use the universal XLSX template when your broker isn’t on the list yet.

How to import transactions from your broker – 3 steps

  1. 1

Download the file from your broker

Export your account history as CSV or XLSX. The guide for each source shows where to find the file, for example your XTB transaction history.

  2. 2

Upload the file and check the mapping

The assistant maps the columns and shows sample values. One file can have up to 3,000 rows, and when a broker exports trades and cash operations separately, you upload both files one after another.

  3. 3

    Review the preview and confirm

Check the parsed trades next to the rows from the file, assign missing symbols and confirm the import. Then compare your result with the market in portfolio benchmarking.
