Many accounts at different brokers – one portfolio, one result

You invest through several brokers and banks, in złoty, dollars and euros. FundStat imports trades from every account, combines them into one portfolio and shows your whole wealth’s result in the currency you choose, with the effect of exchange rates shown separately.

Multi-account investor – the problems you run into most

Each broker shows only its own part of your wealth, in its own currency and its own way. Most people investing through several accounts know these situations.

  • To see my whole wealth, I log in to four apps and add up the balances in a spreadsheet.

Transaction import reads files from 18 brokers and banks, and for the rest there’s a universal import template. All accounts land in one portfolio.

  • I have accounts in złoty, dollars and euros and don’t know what they add up to.

You run your portfolio in PLN, USD, EUR or GBP and switch the display currency at any time. The currency docs explain how conversions work.

  • My US stocks made money, but the result in złoty is worse and I don’t know why.

FundStat shows the exchange rate effect separately, in the daily result and for every closed position, so you see what the market gave and what the currency did.

  • I buy the same ETF at two brokers and can’t see the combined position.

Asset analysis combines one instrument’s trades from all accounts and shows the total cost basis and result.

A multi-account investor’s year in FundStat

With several accounts, what matters most is collecting the data in one place regularly. Each step has its place in the app.

  1. Every week

    Check your whole wealth

One dashboard shows the value and result of all accounts, without logging in to each broker separately.

    Portfolios and accounts
  2. Every month

    Import files from each account

Download the history from each broker and upload it to FundStat. The preview shows the trades before saving.

    Transaction import
  3. Every quarter

    Check your exposure

Check the share of currencies, countries and sectors across your whole wealth, not just a single account.

    What portfolio exposure is
  4. February–April

    Collect PIT-38 from all accounts

Foreign brokers don’t issue PIT-8C, so the annual summary calculates income and costs from all accounts together.

Multi-account investor – frequently asked questions

In FundStat you add each brokerage account as a separate account, such as XTB PLN, XTB IKE and Bossa IKZE, and import the broker’s file into it. Then you combine the accounts you choose into a portfolio that shows their joint value, structure and result.

A portfolio across many accounts – one picture of your whole wealth

Several accounts give you diversification, but only when you see them together. FundStat combines accounts from all your brokers and banks, shows your wealth in the currency you choose and separates the exchange rate effect from your investment result.
